| Background |
Following a somewhat chance encounter with Chateaux & Hôtels de France and Historic Hotels of Europe, we took the initiative to establish a marketing organization for hotels housed in historic landmark buildings. We started in early 2006 and so far we have more than fifty members in the Netherlands and Belgium. Since the spring of 2006, we are affiliated with the European Federation of Historic Hotels.
The members constitute a divers group of entrepreneurs and their hotels, all of them different, all of them unique. This individuality ensures that we will never resemble a chain, that you will never be 'just another guest', and that choices will exist at all levels. Every hotel guarantees quality and personalized attention to its guests in its own, individual way. |

| Historic Hotels of the Benelux introduces guests to the historic hearts of cities, towns and villages and other special areas, enabling them to discover local traditions, interesting historic sites and beautiful scenery. The Hoteliers ensure a warm welcome, with a special focus on cultural-historical backgrounds, tradition, gastronomy and hospitality. By bringing together these unique hotels from various regions and locations in the Benelux, we offer you as our guest, a wide choice and diversity of outings, formal or informal, business or private, but always memorable. |
